Holographic Universe

There is a scientific instrument in Germany called the GEO0600 that is used to measure gravitational waves thrown off by dense astronomical objects such as neutron stars and black holes. It keeps measuring some odd noise, which the Director of Fermilab’s Center for Particle Astrophysics says the noise is the fundamental limit of space-time. The theory is, as we look at space-time with increasing resolution, it gets grainy like an over-blown photo.

Although it’s hard to understand, the theory suggests we are actually a holographic projection of physical processes that take place on a 2D surface.
