In honor of the holiday, a few interesting facts about Martin Luther King.
He was expelled from school. Because of his intelligence, he was placed into the first grade at the age of five, but when his teacher found out how young he was she expelled him.
King had four children.
He was on the cover of Time Magzine in 1957.
He met several US Presidents, including Johnson, Kendedy, and Eisenhower.
King graduated from high school at the age of fifteen.
