Toy Story 3 Trailer
Pixar’s Toy Story 3 is all set to win some awards next year. The huge cast of talent is back for more action, and includes Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Don Rickles, and Michael Keaton. The script was written by an Oscar winner Machael Arndt. The orginal Toy Story movie was released in 1995, with the follow up in 1999. Toy Story grossed $192 million ($361 million worldwide), where # 2 grossed $246 million ($500 million worldwide). Will part three rake in $300 million or more? It’s hard to fault Pixar for giving it a shot with such huge profits at stake. The budget for part 1 was $65 million, with part 2 costing $125 million.
Sounds to me like it’s a golden opportunity, how could Pixar lose? If they just keep cranking out children’s animated feature length films, they will keep printing money like there is no end in sight. Pixar’s graphic and story quality are best in the industry, which really helps there chances of success. But honestly, when is the last time a movie like this lost money?
